Friday night at the Detroit Institute of Art was a blast. I am re-inspired! Jane Hammond: Paper Work, which is in the Schwartz Galleries of Prints and Drawings inside the DIA, was a great exhibit. It is somewhat similar to what I have been planning on doing for my self-portrait series, except I would use photography as my base and build mix media/print/drawing/painting with it.
