Croce dei Salti, Trabocchino, & Cippo

Yesterday I went trekking. Here is the map of our route. It was a beautiful day for trekking. Our starting point was where it says partenza/arrivo. There was a fountain the had fresh water from the mountains that was built in 1932. The water was so cold and it tasted so good. I took a bottle home with me! We started our hike, it was easy to moderate terrain. Then after about 30 minutes we started to get into the rougher steeper terrain. It was so beautiful. When we arrived to the Croce dei Salti (Cross of Jumping), I saw two hawks flying below. It was so amazing to be so high that you can see hawks from above. Then we trekked over to Trabocchino which was a grassy hilly area that in the winter people ski and snow board. There is where we ate lunch and had coffee/tea at the ski lodge. Then hike down was rough rock that was very slippery. We arrived to our starting point. Then we went to the Cippo. The Cippo is a pillar that is very old and I can't find any information why it was erected or any history on it. I am still searching! Here are the pic's.

Buy me a cup of tea

Like reading what I post? Enjoy a peek into someone's journey? Learn something from what you have seen or read? Assist me in furthering my journeys. A cup of tea isn't a lot of money, but little at a time can build into something...
